Senior Fullstack Engineer (BR based only)

Role overview

A senior full-stack engineer is needed to accelerate a product that helps bookkeeping and accounting professionals escape spreadsheets and ad-hoc project management tools. The platform unifies work management, client communication, error detection, and reporting so bookkeepers can deliver better financial insight to the small businesses they serve. This is a high-velocity, product-focused engineering role on a small, high-performing team, with an explicit expectation of daily production shipping.

Responsibilities

- Ship production code on a daily cadence, leveraging AI coding agents to move quickly without sacrificing quality - Influence user experience through hands-on product engineering, contributing to UX decisions rather than only implementing them - Collaborate closely with a high-performing engineering, product, and design team to ship customer-facing improvements - Take ownership of ambiguous problems, identify what needs doing, and drive work forward without waiting to be assigned

Requirements

- 4+ years of experience architecting and building production applications with Node.js - Demonstrated experience writing type-safe code in TypeScript, with strong modern JavaScript (ES6+) fluency - Hands-on experience building web applications end-to-end with React on the front end and Node on the back end - A track record of shipping systems that solved a hard problem, such as building the internal tool no one else thought was possible, rather than simply delivering on schedule - High agency and a bias toward speeding things up: someone who has asked "why isn't this moving faster?" and then acted on it - Comfort using AI coding agents to ship code to production
