About this role
Role overview
A People Product team is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the internal compensation products that determine how pay ranges are set and maintained across every job family, level, and country within a large, multi-brand organization. This is an individual contributor role with a clearly scoped product area, focused on turning a judgment-heavy compensation methodology into scalable product logic, including the tooling, data, and AI components that power it. The work partners closely with Design, Engineering, Analytics, Compensation, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition to elevate the broader People Tech stack.
Responsibilities
- Own product decisions for the compensation range-setting stack, including the range-setting tool, its recommendation engine, and the monitoring dashboard, while partnering with Compensation on methodology. - Define the data pipelines and data products range setting depends on, including historical ranges, offers, incumbent, and attrition data, and partner with People Analytics on the semantic layer and compensation data mart. - Own the end-to-end product and analytics roadmap for the range-setting area and drive launches through adoption, enablement, and change management. - Improve Compensation Partner productivity across the range review process, including managing intake, prioritization, and requirements definition. - Own the seams into adjacent compensation surfaces, including recruiter offer guidance, budget modeling, headcount planning, and HRIS range loads.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience shipping products end to end, including at least one data- or workflow-heavy internal or B2B product. - Demonstrated success turning a manual, judgment-heavy operational process into a product with rules, guardrails, recommendations, and measurable throughput gains. - Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, including sizing problems, defining evaluation metrics for a recommendation engine, and reading precision-and-recall trade-offs. - Experience shipping an AI- or model-assisted feature where output quality is the product, including rule or prompt design, evaluation sets, and measurement against human decisions. - Excellent partnership and communication skills, particularly with the operational experts whose judgment is being encoded into the product. - Experience working across custom-built tools and third-party SaaS systems (HRIS, ATS, survey and benchmarking, BI), including integrating data and negotiating dependencies with platform and analytics teams.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with Compensation or Total Rewards, including range architecture, market pricing, survey data, compa-ratio, peer groups, leveling, or annual budget planning. - Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, Snowflake, and/or Sigma and their extensibility models. - Experience building for multi-brand, multi-region, and multi-currency environments, including associated data-privacy constraints. - Experience shipping on top of a semantic layer or enabling natural-language querying over a governed dataset.
