Role overview A people-leader role focused on advancing an internal AI and process automation practice. The position combines team management with hands-on oversight of automation initiatives that improve how internal operations run. Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and support a team of automation specialists, setting and reviewing individual and team KPIs. - Oversee the design, integration, and rollout of AI and machine learning solutions that streamline internal processes. - Partner with business stakeholders across departments to surface, prioritize, and deliver automation opportunities aligned with organizational strategy. - Track project performance and report outcomes, efficiency gains, and cost savings to senior leadership. - Champion AI literacy through training, knowledge sharing, and awareness initiatives across the wider business. - Keep current with emerging AI tools and methodologies, bring promising approaches into the organization, and ensure solutions follow ethical AI principles.
Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field. - Several years of IT experience, including proven people-management or team-lead responsibility. - Hands-on background in AI, machine learning, and process automation technologies. - Demonstrated success delivering AI, automation, or broader digital transformation programs. - Solid grasp of software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps.
