Senior .NET Integration Engineer

Role overview A fintech platform that automates accounts payable, payments, and financial operations for investment firms, family offices, and fund administrators is hiring an experienced integration engineer to own its connector layer. The position centers on building robust links between the platform and the ERP and accounting systems that customers already rely on, making data accuracy and reliability the core engineering challenge.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain REST and SOAP integrations that remain stable across diverse, real-world customer environments - Develop synchronization, mapping, validation, and reconciliation workflows that keep data consistent across systems - Implement retry logic, idempotency, audit trails, and alerting to handle partial failures and eventual consistency gracefully - Diagnose integration breakdowns end-to-end and improve performance, logging, and overall reliability - Partner with onboarding and support teams to help new customers go live with their integrations - Participate in code reviews, documentation, and the ongoing refinement of engineering standards, including the use of AI-assisted development tools

Requirements - At least five years of professional software engineering experience on production systems - Strong command of C# and .NET for backend services and API development - Demonstrated background integrating with ERP, accounting, or other financial systems - Solid grasp of REST and SOAP protocols, including authentication, error handling, retries, and versioning - Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including query design, optimization, and data modeling - Familiarity with event-driven or message-based architectures and the independence to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have - Prior work integrating specifically with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics - Domain exposure to fintech, payments, accounts payable, or fund administration - Experience with Azure services such as Service Bus, Functions, or API Management - Knowledge of SFTP, EDI, or other file-based integration patterns, plus Python for scripting - Background in multi-tenant SaaS, structured logging, distributed tracing, or daily use of AI coding assistants
