Role overview
An experienced ERP functional analyst is needed to support and evolve a cloud-based Oracle Fusion ERP environment that underpins core finance operations. The role blends L2/L3 production support, enhancement delivery, and stakeholder partnership across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Procurement, while helping maintain a strong controls posture aligned with SOX and ITGC requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver L2 incident and problem management alongside L3 bug-fix and enhancement support across the Oracle Fusion ERP landscape. - Investigate and resolve functional issues in AR, AP, Procurement, and GL in close partnership with Finance stakeholders. - Act as the functional point of contact for project managers during critical incidents, driving timely resolution and clear communication. - Create, review, and refresh functional and design documentation on a recurring cadence. - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities along with cyclical finance operations. - Execute application testing for break-fixes and minor enhancements. - Own end-to-end quarterly patch upgrades, including impact analysis and stakeholder briefings on new features.
Requirements
- Five or more years of hands-on Oracle Fusion ERP experience in a functional analyst role. - Deep functional knowledge of AR, AP, GL, and Procurement within Oracle Fusion Cloud. - Experience configuring Subledger Accounting rules, BPM approval workflows, and module setups. - Demonstrated track record supporting L2/L3 production environments with documented incident and problem management. - Ability to author and maintain functional design documentation. - Familiarity with SOX compliance, ITGC controls, and standard operating procedures in an ERP context. - Strong communication skills for direct engagement with Finance and business partners.
Nice to have
- Oracle Fusion certification in one or more financials modules. - Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud or comparable middleware. - Familiarity with Oracle Risk Management Cloud or the Financial Accounting Hub. - Prior experience in an Application Managed Services delivery model.
Benefits and work setup
- US-based remote position, with the option to work from a San Francisco Bay Area office when local. - Base salary range of $192,000 to $216,000 plus equity and benefits.
