Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI-First)

Role overview Build and operate a healthcare software platform across its web interface, backend services, and AI-enabled workflows. You’ll take features from design through release and ongoing monitoring, including clinical chat, document processing, medication checks, and safeguards for sensitive health information.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain frontend and backend features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and a real-time database service. - Create AI-assisted capabilities for clinical conversations, lab report extraction, and medical literature search. - Implement serverless functions, database changes, and live data updates; improve their reliability and performance. - Own delivery end to end, including design, testing, deployment, monitoring, and technical documentation. - Contribute to architecture, code reviews, CI/CD, dashboards, and alerting. - Apply encryption to health data and optimize database queries, function startup time, and frontend bundle size.

Requirements - At least five years of full-stack development experience, including React, TypeScript, and Node.js. - Practical experience using AI coding assistants as part of a daily development workflow. - Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, or a comparable real-time backend. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure; experience with GCP is preferred. - Experience building AI features such as retrieval-augmented generation, prompt chains, or agent workflows. - Strong attention to code quality, testing, and developer experience, with comfort working across responsibilities in a small team.

Nice to have - Experience with healthcare data, clinical software, or HIPAA-related requirements.
