Software Engineer (Java)

Role overview Build and maintain backend services for products in the event ticketing space. You’ll take features from API design through data persistence, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance, while contributing to product direction in an autonomous team.

Responsibilities - Develop backend features across the full service flow, from REST endpoints to stored data. - Design APIs with clear contracts, versioning, and maintainability in mind. - Write unit and integration tests, and help extend end-to-end coverage where appropriate. - Use AI-assisted coding tools as part of day-to-day development. - Explore technologies and approaches, and contribute to shaping the product roadmap.

Requirements - At least 8 years of professional experience. - Strong Java skills and hands-on experience building production services with Spring Boot. - Experience designing and delivering backend services and REST APIs. - A testing mindset, including writing tests for APIs and service behavior.

Nice to have - Familiarity with OpenAPI, Kubernetes, AWS, and automated build and deployment workflows. - Experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
