Frontend Web Developer

Role overview

Join a remote engineering team creating performant, intuitive web experiences for a cloud infrastructure and DevOps platform. You will work on user-facing features, frontend architecture, near-real-time data-intensive interfaces, and test automation, while helping shape decisions about usability, maintainability, and developer experience. The role includes work across open-source and proprietary repositories and integrations with external cloud services.

Responsibilities

- Build and improve web application features that make complex infrastructure and automation workflows easier to use. - Propose and implement improvements to frontend performance, usability, reliability, and testability. - Contribute to frontend architecture decisions for data-intensive, near-real-time user interfaces. - Manage the frontend technical backlog by prioritizing bugs, technical debt, and architectural improvements. - Strengthen automated testing and quality practices across the web application. - Collaborate on integrations with third-party cloud application and infrastructure services.

Requirements

- Professional experience developing modern frontend web applications. - Strong interest in user experience, interface design, design systems, and maintainable frontend architecture. - Ability to take ownership of technical decisions and communicate trade-offs clearly. - Experience improving performance and building reliable automated tests for web interfaces. - Proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration in a distributed engineering team.

Nice to have

- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript ecosystems, including React, Vue, Cypress, Jest, or Storybook. - Familiarity with DevOps, SRE, cloud infrastructure, automation, or REST API-driven products.
