Responsibilities
- Deliver improvements to API endpoints, SDKs, libraries, and integration providers. - Design and implement robust, intuitive REST APIs for infrastructure, deployment, and automation workflows. - Recommend and advocate for improvements to API usability, reliability, and maintainability. - Manage the REST API technical backlog and identify architectural or technology improvements. - Integrate the product with third-party cloud application and infrastructure services. - Contribute across both open-source and closed-source repositories. - Participate in a design-first engineering process and help shape solutions from concept through production.
Requirements
- Strong practical experience developing REST APIs. - Ability to make and explain decisions about software architecture and API design. - Interest in developer experience, DevOps, site reliability engineering, infrastructure as code, GitOps, and automation. - Proactive working style with a willingness to own initiatives and influence technical direction. - Ability to collaborate in a helpful, distributed engineering environment.
