Lead Developer

Role overview Lead hands-on development of customer-facing applications, internal tools, integrations, and data pipelines for a team in the health and wellness sector. The role combines end-to-end engineering ownership with technical leadership, working closely with the CTO and using AI-assisted development in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities - Build and evolve web applications using React and TypeScript, alongside backend services and data systems. - Develop and maintain production integrations with booking, payment, CRM, and other third-party platforms. - Work with appointment and booking data alongside commerce systems. - Support analytics, event tracking, and marketing measurement workflows. - Provide technical direction while contributing directly to implementation and delivery.

Requirements - At least five years building production web applications, including two or more years in a senior, lead, or technical leadership role. - Strong practical experience with React and TypeScript, plus backend work with Postgres and serverless or edge functions. - Experience with booking platforms, appointment data, and production API integrations. - Familiarity with customer data platforms, Klaviyo, Google Tag Manager, analytics, and event pipelines. - Regular use of an agentic coding assistant such as Claude Code, with sound judgment about safe and effective AI use. - Advanced English.
