About this role
Role overview A principal-level analytics leader is sought to shape data and business strategy for client engagements. The role applies quantitative frameworks to marketing, product, and commercial problems through analysis, predictive modeling, forecasting, and applied statistics. The position partners across product, engineering, marketing, sales, and finance functions to drive a pragmatic, engineering-oriented approach to data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities - Design and execute high-impact analytics solutions spanning marketing, product, and operational domains. - Lead end-to-end discovery and assessment of client data portfolios, tools, and applications. - Manage a full data ecosystem including ETL, governance, reporting, and insight generation. - Translate emerging industry trends into actionable improvements for existing workflows. - Run projects from initial scoping through delivery, covering requirements gathering, architecture, workflow management, quality assurance, and visualization. - Mentor junior colleagues on analytical process, deliverables, client communication, and project leadership.
Requirements - 5+ years of applied analytics experience across marketing, product, engineering, sales, or finance. - 5+ years conducting data portfolio and tooling assessments for clients. - 3+ years of data management and consulting experience. - Strong working SQL skills; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus. - Proficiency in at least one language used for applied statistics, data analysis, or machine learning, such as Python, R, MATLAB, or SPSS. - Experience deploying or using analytics solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus comfort with LLMs and AI coding tools.
