Senior GoLang Developer

Role overview

A Senior GoLang Developer position is open for an experienced engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services using the Go programming language. The role is based in either Čačak or Belgrade, Serbia, and offers flexibility through on-site, remote, or hybrid work arrangements. The successful candidate will contribute to scalable, production-grade systems within a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices in Go - Write clean, well-structured, and thoroughly tested code - Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to uphold engineering quality - Collaborate with product, QA, and infrastructure colleagues to deliver reliable features - Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues in existing systems - Mentor less experienced developers and help evolve internal coding practices

Requirements

- Several years of professional experience building production systems in Go - Strong understanding of Go's concurrency model, standard library, and idiomatic patterns - Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and related service interfaces - Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases and common data access patterns - Working knowledge of testing frameworks, version control, and CI/CD pipelines - Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
