About this role
Role overview
Own the reliability and operational readiness of a production platform that orchestrates enterprise AI agents across multiple deployment environments. This senior role combines site reliability engineering, observability, incident response, and infrastructure automation, with a strong emphasis on dependable operation in regulated and restricted environments. The position is available in London, Dublin, or remotely.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement observability, alerting, service-level objectives, and operational dashboards for the platform and customer deployments. - Lead production incident response, coordinate investigation and recovery, and turn recurring issues into durable engineering improvements. - Reduce operational toil through automation, repeatable runbooks, and better platform tooling. - Harden deployments for sovereign, on-premise, and air-gapped environments where connectivity and operational assumptions may be constrained. - Work with forward-deployed engineering teams to make customer environments supportable, measurable, and production-ready. - Help establish and maintain the operational standards required to ship quickly without compromising reliability or compliance expectations.
Requirements
- Strong experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related production operations discipline. - Hands-on experience participating in or leading production on-call and incident response. - Deep practical knowledge of observability, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation. - Ability to diagnose complex operational problems calmly and methodically under pressure. - A balanced approach that combines delivery speed with appropriate controls, testing, and risk management. - Experience supporting systems where reliability, auditability, and controlled access are important.
Benefits and work setup
- Full-time employment with London, Dublin, or remote working options. - Remote-friendly arrangements across the UK, EU, and selected global time zones. - Equity participation and cash compensation benchmarked to leading London and remote markets.
