SkillBridge Intern - Mission Manager

Role overview SkillBridge internship designed for service members within 180 days of separating from the military. It offers hands-on experience coordinating the transformation and deployment of cybersecurity applications into Kubernetes-based environments spanning cloud to bare-metal platforms. The role is coordination-focused rather than hands-on coding or system configuration. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance are required.

Responsibilities - Coordinate the movement of cybersecurity applications into Kubernetes environments across cloud and bare-metal targets. - Act as liaison between application development and platform teams, removing blockers and keeping timelines on track. - Serve as Mission Manager for assigned delivery efforts and partner with Tech Leads to shape the technical roadmap. - Align product roadmaps with delivery plans and channel feedback between delivery and product teams. - Champion best practices and engineering standards throughout delivery work. - Balance competing priorities from users, customers, stakeholders, and the team to deliver scalable mission value.

Requirements - Current eligibility for the DoD SkillBridge program and U.S. citizenship. - Ability to obtain and hold a security clearance. - Demonstrated ability to contribute to product vision and align technical solutions with long-term objectives. - Experience evaluating alternative approaches to complex business problems and selecting optimal methods. - Skill assessing new products for mission fit and articulating gaps in existing processes. - Capability to solve highly technical problems that span multiple knowledge domains, with a critical thinking mindset.
