Role overview An analyst role that turns customer and operational data into clear, actionable insight for a healthcare-focused data business. The position partners with Customer Success, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build dashboards, monitor performance, and surface opportunities that improve customer experience and operational outcomes.
Responsibilities - Collect, clean, and analyze customer and operational data from multiple sources to spot trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities - Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and performance summaries that give visibility into key customer and business metrics - Use SQL to retrieve, combine, and analyze data that supports reporting and decision-making - Track key performance indicators and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for Customer Success, Operations, and business leaders - Run ad hoc analyses on customer performance, medical record retrieval, operational outcomes, and broader business trends - Develop presentations and visual stories that communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences - Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define reporting needs, and recommend analytical solutions - Identify inefficiencies, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities through quantitative analysis - Measure the impact of business initiatives and document requirements, metric definitions, methodologies, and key findings - Validate data accuracy and consistency across dashboards, reports, and analyses
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field - 3+ years in business analysis, customer insights, data analytics, operations analytics, or a closely related role - Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, including Sigma Computing - Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with relational databases; exposure to cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets - Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to present to varied audiences - Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to data quality - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment - Experience building reports in cloud visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
Nice to have - Hands-on report-building experience in Sigma Computing - Background supporting Customer Success, client-facing, or operational teams through data and insights - Experience in healthcare, health technology, payer services, or medical record retrieval - Familiarity with payer operations or risk adjustment
Benefits and work setup - Estimated total cash compensation range of $80,000–$100,000 USD - Some clients may require post-offer health screenings and vaccinations; exemption requests reviewed case by case - Not eligible for employment sponsorship
