Job details
About this role
Role overview A fast-growing privacy platform company is hiring an IT and Business Systems Manager to own the function end-to-end for a distributed, remote-first workforce. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the role combines hands-on endpoint support with strategic automation, partnering closely with Security on ISO compliance and shaping how IT scales as the company grows.
Responsibilities - Own IT and business systems operations, including endpoint management, identity, and the SaaS application footprint, with accurate monthly review of renewals. - Deliver hands-on technical support across the company, resolving desktop issues and setting the standard for fast, first-call resolution. - Run device and account onboarding and offboarding, ensuring smooth new-hire experiences and clean exits. - Partner with Security to build and maintain the access controls, endpoint policies, and audit trails required for ISO compliance. - Execute across day-to-day security workstreams such as tooling rollouts and access reviews, working in tandem with the security function rather than independently of it. - Build automation and self-service tooling that reduces manual ticket volume while preserving controls and visibility. - Administer an Apple-based fleet end-to-end, from MDM policy and OS upgrades to hardware lifecycle. - Manage vendor relationships and SaaS vendor management, from onboarding through offboarding, ensuring technology spend aligns with long-term solutions.
Requirements - Proven, senior-level experience independently owning a distributed, remote-first IT environment of similar size, spanning endpoints, identity, and business applications. - A track record of operating with high autonomy and minimal day-to-day oversight. - Hands-on experience administering MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, or Hexnode, plus Apple hardware and OS in an enterprise setting. - Strong understanding of identity and access management tools like Okta and how they intersect with security and compliance. - Experience building or maturing security and compliance controls, ideally in support of ISO 27001 or a comparable framework.
Nice to have - Prior IT experience in a regulated industry or another SaaS company handling sensitive data. - Direct experience supporting an ISO audit.
Benefits and work setup - Base compensation range of $130,000 to $175,000. - Equity, health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) savings plan. - Remote-first working environment with a work-from-home stipend, parental leave, wellness benefits, flexible paid time off, and paid holidays.
