Role overview A staff-level product role owning the roadmap for a data and AI platform across the US public sector, spanning federal civilian, state and local, defense, and intelligence community customers. The position covers the full accreditation spectrum, including FedRAMP on commercial clouds, sovereign AWS GovCloud and Azure Government regions, and classified environments up to Top Secret.
Responsibilities - Own public-sector product offerings end to end, from FedRAMP on commercial clouds to GovCloud, Azure Government, DoD Impact Levels, and classified deployments. - Design new features and adapt existing ones to meet government and regulated-environment needs. - Ensure compliance and authorization processes scale with rapid platform growth across new regions and impact levels. - Launch public-sector offerings with go-to-market and field teams to accelerate adoption across federal, defense, intelligence community, and state, local, and education customers. - Partner with security assurance, operations, sales, and engineering to define the company-wide public-sector compliance roadmap and sequence authorizations that open new government markets. - Coordinate with cloud providers on product launches and capabilities required for regulated customers.
Requirements - Product management experience with enterprise B2B or SaaS products, including shipped customer-facing features. - Proven ability to lead customer conversations, write PRDs, define success metrics, prioritize features, and guide engineering and design execution. - Domain expertise in US public-sector compliance and accreditation, such as FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels (IL4/5/6), and NIST 800-53, and with government cloud or classified deployments. - Experience launching enterprise products and driving adoption in large, complex organizations, ideally including US government or other highly regulated customers. - Demonstrated ability to drive results through influential leadership across engineering, sales, marketing, solution architects, and customer success. - US citizenship and ability to obtain and hold a security clearance.
Nice to have - Active US security clearance such as Top Secret or TS/SCI.
Benefits and work setup - US national pay range transparency is published, with zone-based salary bands around $154,400 to $237,325 USD depending on location, plus eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and region-specific benefits. - Employment is contingent on the ability to access export-controlled technology or source code, which may require a US government license at the employer's discretion.
