Solutions Architect - Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)

Role overview Lead technical strategy for customer accounts, guiding data and AI solutions from discovery through production and broader adoption. The work combines hands-on architecture and coding with advising senior technical stakeholders, coordinating specialists, and building deeper expertise in a chosen technical area.

Responsibilities - Set account technical direction and design production-ready systems for data engineering, machine learning, and real-time analytics. - Lead architecture reviews, whiteboarding, and trade-off discussions with customer engineering and architecture teams. - Demonstrate solutions through working prototypes and technical evaluations, including in competitive situations. - Coordinate internal specialists and partners to address complex customer needs. - Share structured customer feedback and competitive gaps with product teams. - Grow expertise in a technical domain such as streaming, AI, governance, or migrations.

Requirements - At least six years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical presales, or a senior hands-on technical role. - Strong Python and SQL skills, including the ability to code, debug, and build solutions live. - Deep knowledge of distributed data systems, scalable pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns, and cloud platforms. - Experience deploying production systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with attention to infrastructure, security, and governance. - Ability to lead technical discussions, explain trade-offs, and connect architecture decisions to business outcomes. - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have - Relevant data engineering, machine learning, or platform certifications; experience with competing data platforms; or a background in data, AI, or cloud services. - Industry experience in areas such as finance, healthcare, retail, or media.

Benefits and work setup - A local salary range of $180,000–$247,500 USD is listed. Total compensation may also include an annual bonus and equity; benefits vary by region.
