Node.js & TypeScript Software Engineer

Role overview Develop Node.js and TypeScript services that support APIs, integrations, and business workflows. The work includes choosing a suitable framework for each task, maintaining production systems, and collaborating through code review, testing, documentation, and releases.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain Node.js and TypeScript services, APIs, and integrations. - Select practical application structures using Express.js, NestJS, or Next.js as appropriate. - Review code, test changes, and document technical decisions. - Support software releases. - Investigate production issues and improve application visibility.

Requirements - Production experience with Node.js and TypeScript. - Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or a comparable backend framework. - Sound practices for APIs, databases, Git, validation, and testing. - Current residence in Sri Lanka and a reliable remote-working setup.
