About this role
Role overview Lead technology integration projects for newly acquired accounting and professional services firms, from initial assessment through cutover, stabilization, and standardization. The role serves as the main technology coordination point for each assigned integration, aligning firm leaders, local technology teams, service providers, and central functions while limiting disruption and protecting business and client information.
Responsibilities - Own integration work from kickoff and readiness assessment through implementation and post-cutover stabilization. - Build and manage roadmaps, plans, schedules, budgets, dependencies, and milestones across concurrent workstreams. - Coordinate systems and data migrations, including secure and compliant handling of firm and client information. - Work with technology, finance, HR, operations, external service providers, and firm leadership to resolve dependencies. - Identify delivery risks, issues, and capacity constraints, then drive mitigation plans. - Report progress, decisions, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders, and guide employees through technology changes.
Requirements - At least eight years of technology project leadership experience, including significant involvement in mergers and acquisitions integrations. - Demonstrated ability to design and deliver complex technology integration roadmaps. - Strong program and project management skills across multiple workstreams. - Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior business and technology stakeholders. - Clear communication skills, including presenting to executives and managing partners. - Working knowledge of Agile, software development lifecycle, or PMI project methods; ability to travel approximately 10–15% as needed.
Nice to have - Background in accounting, professional services, or another decentralized organization. - Familiarity with project portfolio management tools such as Smartsheet. - A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related field, and a PMP, CM&AP, or comparable certification.
