About this role
Role overview
Guide enterprise customers from onboarding through adoption and expansion, helping them realize measurable value from technical solutions for managing and analyzing telemetry. This post-sales role combines hands-on problem solving with strategic advising: you’ll work with technical teams and executives, coordinate internally, and represent customer needs across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customer stakeholders and leaders, and agree on enablement, adoption, and value plans. - Recommend use cases, support implementation and troubleshooting, and encourage relevant training and certification. - Identify ways customers can gain further value by reducing, reusing, enriching, and routing their data. - Coordinate with sales, product, marketing, customer experience, and engineering teams to address customer needs. - Track customer health and outcomes, using metrics to identify progress and signs of risk. - Coach and mentor colleagues and contribute to the broader customer experience team.
Requirements
- At least five years in a related customer-facing post-sales role, with a technical or engineering approach to customer success. - Experience supporting large, complex enterprise customers in a high-growth environment. - Knowledge of observability, logs, metrics, IT operations, or security, including how data moves through its lifecycle. - Strong communication, listening, relationship management, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to explain technical value to both practitioners and senior decision-makers. - Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 15–20%; occasional work outside standard hours may be required across time zones.
Nice to have
- Administration or architecture experience with data engineering or analytics platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, or Snowflake. - Familiarity with customer success platforms, major cloud providers, or remote work.
Benefits and work setup
The role is remote-first. Compensation includes a base salary range of £80,400–£95,000 GBP; some sales-adjacent roles may also have incentive compensation. Benefits vary by country and may include retirement support, paid leave, remote-office support, equity, and wellness programs.
