About this role
Role overview Contribute to machine learning work intended to make digital payments safer and more accessible. This internship or early-career position focuses on using transaction data and AI techniques for fraud detection, risk assessment, and more personalized user experiences, including taking models toward production use.
Responsibilities - Build and train models for fraud detection and risk scoring. - Analyze transaction data to identify useful patterns and insights. - Deploy machine learning models into production environments. - Work with engineers to integrate AI capabilities into products. - Research and apply relevant machine learning methods for financial services.
Requirements - Understanding of core machine learning concepts. - Python experience and familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. - Ability to work with real-world datasets, including imbalanced data. - Basic understanding of data engineering pipelines.
Nice to have - Experience with fintech or fraud detection. - Experience deploying machine learning models at scale. - Familiarity with MLOps tools.
