Senior Solutions Engineer

Role overview A Senior Solutions Engineer position focused on guiding clients through successful implementation of a marketing technology platform. The role combines deep technical expertise with client-facing consulting, helping brands unlock platform value through integrations, scripting capabilities, and data architecture design. This is a hands-on role working across implementation, client success, and product teams.

Responsibilities - Serve as the platform subject matter expert, consulting directly with clients on features, enhancements, and best practices aligned to their business goals - Lead implementation work involving RESTful APIs, JavaScript snippets, and integrations within client marketing stacks - Design data structures that integrate with the platform object model, including dynamic scripting for email, SMS, and push messaging - Manage internal stakeholders and external client expectations across projects and timelines - Collaborate with product, client success, strategy, support, and sales teams to ensure adoption and client satisfaction - Document completed project work thoroughly to build a knowledge base for the broader team

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in professional services, with a track record of successful client implementations - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data structures - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus experience with PHP or another programming language - Comfort using browser developer tools and understanding the differences between SQL and NoSQL databases - Experience working with digital or retail marketing industries and enterprise clients

Nice to have - Familiarity with machine learning capabilities applied to messaging personalization
