Role overview
Build and evolve a cloud platform that supports complex quote-to-consumption workflows for companies with usage-based business models. The work centers on high-throughput, low-latency software for business-critical revenue processes, including core platform development, production reliability, and collaboration with customer-facing teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain core components of the platform. - Develop efficient software for high-volume and latency-sensitive business processes. - Own features through the full engineering lifecycle, from design to production delivery. - Investigate and resolve production issues with a focus on durable fixes. - Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews. - Partner with customer-facing teams to resolve technical issues and identify product improvements.
Requirements
- At least eight years of professional product-engineering experience. - Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science or a related field. - Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines. - Expert proficiency in Java or C++. - Strong software design, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities. - Experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes. - Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and apply them effectively.
