About this role
Role overview A full-stack engineering role on a prospect solutions team supporting sales for an AI-driven e-commerce search and discovery platform. The position blends hands-on coding, technical pre-sales collaboration, and demo infrastructure work, helping prospective customers integrate data and interfaces with the core platform to power personalized shopping experiences.
Responsibilities - Write JavaScript code to collect and prepare data used to train proprietary AI models. - Assist prospects with integrating their catalogs and front-end interfaces, focusing on ETL pipelines and UI connections. - Validate incoming data quality and ensure service outputs meet accuracy standards for demos. - Build and scale demo infrastructure that empowers the sales organization to win prominent commerce brands. - Answer technical questions from prospects alongside account executives, translating complex capabilities into clear value. - Develop dashboards and alerts using React, Redux, Node, ClickHouse, and OpenSearch. - Contribute to open-source JavaScript UI libraries and REST clients. - Lead thoughtful code reviews and support teammates through collaborative problem solving.
Requirements - A minimum of four years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent academic depth. - Strong foundation in server-side and client-side programming languages. - Experience building user interfaces with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular. - Track record of designing UIs with careful attention to user experience. - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Jest, or React Testing Library. - English at C1 level or higher, with availability for teammate meetings between 1400 and 1800 UTC and a working start between 0900 and 1200 UTC.
Nice to have - TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, Storybook, Python, or web scraping experience. - Comfort picking up new languages and patterns quickly.
