Senior Software Engineer, Dev Ops

Role overview A commercial-operations software company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps to build and evolve the cloud infrastructure powering its revenue-lifecycle platform. The role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Operations, driving CI/CD, platform reliability, and developer experience for a globally distributed engineering organization based in Canada.

Responsibilities - Design and operate scalable CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, deployment, and release across many teams. - Build highly available infrastructure on AWS and Microsoft Azure using Terraform or CloudFormation, balancing cost, performance, and resilience. - Containerize workloads with Docker and operate Kubernetes clusters, including scaling, monitoring, and lifecycle management. - Implement security best practices around encryption, identity, access controls, and network policy. - Champion an automation-first culture, partner with engineering teams to embed DevOps practices, and continuously improve deployment velocity and reliability.

Requirements - Senior-level experience designing and operating production cloud infrastructure and delivery platforms. - Strong background with AWS and/or Azure, IaC tooling such as Terraform and CloudFormation, and CI/CD systems. - Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes in highly available, fault-tolerant setups. - Familiarity with security standards (OAuth, WS-Security, encryption in transit and at rest) and Agile delivery. - Experience supporting large-scale SaaS or cloud-native products, ideally with Jira and modern toolchains.
