Systems Engineer Email Infrastructure m/f/d

Role overview Operate and improve the email infrastructure behind a business security platform, where reliable delivery and standards compliance are central to the service. The work covers mail flow, authentication and transport policies, deliverability, incident response, and customer on-premises deployments.

Responsibilities - Run and evolve mail flow using Postfix and rspamd. - Implement and maintain email standards including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DANE, MTA-STS, and TLS-RPT. - Monitor deliverability, manage IP reputation, and handle bounce processing. - Support customer on-premises deployments using Docker, high availability, and monitoring. - Investigate incidents, document findings, and resolve underlying causes.

Requirements - Production experience with Linux and Docker. - Practical experience with mail servers; Postfix experience is preferred. - Familiarity with spam filtering, DNS, and email authentication. - Calm, structured approach to operational incidents. - Very good German for direct customer communication.
