The position owns technical integration work from initial scoping through production deployment, bridging complex payer-side systems with a modern AI platform. It is a highly technical, hands-on role that combines pre-sales engineering, architecture design, and production delivery in a regulated healthcare environment.

Requirements - 6–10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend and systems focus. - Healthcare industry experience on the payer side, including familiarity with payer workflows, healthcare data standards, and regulatory requirements. - Deep expertise in data architecture and integration patterns, including data modeling, transformation logic, schema design, and middleware, message queues, or event-driven architectures. - Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, API Gateway, and EventBridge. - Strong API integration and authentication skills covering RESTful APIs, webhooks, OAuth2/OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and API key management. - Production coding skills in a modern language such as Python, Node.js, Java, or Go. - Track record of working directly with enterprise customers in technical implementation roles.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote with approximately 5% travel. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus an Employee Assistance Program. - 401(k) retirement plan with company match, flexible spending, and health savings account options. - Flexible paid time off plus company holidays, and up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave. - Pet insurance benefit. - Posted salary range of $135,000 to $170,000 annually, with final pay determined by qualifications, experience, skills, and internal alignment.
