Role overview A senior-level position focused on owning the reliability, scalability, and automation of cloud-native infrastructure for mission-critical applications. The engineer acts as the primary architect for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code, working across diverse client technology stacks while remaining grounded in core cloud principles. Success is measured by deployment frequency, system uptime, and the ability to eliminate operational toil while mentoring engineering teams on modern delivery practices.
Responsibilities - Design and maintain scalable cloud environments using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. - Build, optimize, and operate automated deployment pipelines that enable rapid and reliable software delivery. - Implement observability frameworks including monitoring, logging, and alerting to safeguard 24/7 system health. - Integrate DevSecOps practices across the delivery lifecycle, covering SSL, IAM, and data encryption. - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and coach engineering teams toward high-velocity delivery habits.
Requirements - 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. - Advanced proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform or Pulumi) and configuration management. - Deep understanding of Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS. - Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go for automation and scripting tasks. - Advanced written and verbal English skills for collaboration with US-based clients. - Demonstrated experience operating within nearshore or offshore client-facing startup environments.
