Senior Software Engineer

Role overview This is a senior individual-contributor role focused on building and evolving the systems behind an agentic software development experience. The work spans the agent harness, integrations, and the workflows that connect agents with real development environments. You will stay hands-on while partnering closely with product, design, and other engineers to ship reliable, production-grade agentic capabilities.

Responsibilities - Design and build production systems primarily in Go, with adjacent work in React and TypeScript where needed. - Improve agent execution, tool use, context management, streaming, and long-running workflows. - Extend a provider-agnostic agent architecture as new models and capabilities appear. - Build reliable integrations that connect agents, workspaces, tools, and underlying developer infrastructure. - Own projects end-to-end, from implementation through rollout and iteration. - Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and broader technical discussions. - Partner with product and design to translate agent capabilities into useful developer experiences. - Improve the reliability, performance, and operability of agentic systems in production.

Requirements - Strong experience building and operating production software systems at scale. - Hands-on experience with Go for backend development. - Experience with React and TypeScript on the frontend. - Practical experience building systems around LLMs or agentic workflows. - Familiarity with model APIs, tool calling, context management, or agent loops. - Solid understanding of distributed systems and production reliability practices. - Working knowledge of AWS. - Strong problem-solving skills and comfort navigating technical ambiguity. - A collaborative mindset, contributing through reviews, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

Nice to have - Experience building coding agents, developer tools, or cloud development environments. - Familiarity with MCP, agent tools, or multi-agent system patterns. - Background in remote execution, sandboxing, or isolated compute. - Experience integrating across multiple model providers. - Working with Kubernetes, Docker, or Linux. - Open-source contributions or experience working directly with customers.
