Role overview Build geospatial applications and data workflows for projects in a range of industries. The role combines GIS software development, spatial analysis, and management of large geospatial datasets, with a remote, full-time setup.
Responsibilities - Develop web applications and tools for GIS and spatial analysis. - Process and manage large geospatial datasets. - Connect mapping libraries with spatial databases. - Apply geospatial expertise to client projects.
Requirements - At least three years of GIS development experience. - Experience with PostGIS and GDAL. - Familiarity with a mapping library such as Leaflet, Mapbox, or Cesium. - Python or JavaScript skills for spatial data processing.
Nice to have - A degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field.
