About this role
Role overview Lead UX design for clinical workflows that help care teams turn clinical insights into decisions, treatment plans, coordinated action, and ongoing follow-through. You will guide experienced designers, set strategic direction across several related product areas, and shape how AI can support clinical work while preserving transparency and clinician oversight.
Responsibilities - Establish a coherent UX strategy for decision support, treatment planning, intervention selection, execution, care coordination, and longitudinal follow-up. - Coach senior designers to navigate ambiguity, set direction, make sound trade-offs, and influence stakeholders beyond their immediate product areas. - Guide teams in deciding where AI can synthesize information, suggest options, automate tasks, or stay out of a workflow. - Set expectations for evidence, uncertainty, human review, and correction in AI-supported clinical experiences. - Partner with clinical, product, engineering, data science, and research leaders to reconcile user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities. - Strengthen design critique, research synthesis, prototyping, clinical review, and evaluation practices.
Requirements - Deep expertise in UX design for clinical products and workflows. - Experience leading and developing experienced designers. - Ability to set product design strategy and influence senior cross-functional stakeholders. - Sound judgment about applying AI in consequential workflows, including the need for evidence, transparency, and human control. - Strength in research-informed design, prototyping, evaluation, and making decisions amid complexity.
