Principal Network Architect — Data Center & Fiber

Role overview Design high-performance network and fiber solutions for data center and cloud interconnection projects. The work covers switching fabrics for AI infrastructure, carrier connectivity, data center interconnects, and cloud on-ramps, with an emphasis on scalable, high-bandwidth designs.

Responsibilities - Lead network architecture for data center and cloud interconnection engagements. - Design spine-leaf switching fabrics using 400G and 800G Ethernet. - Develop connectivity approaches for carriers, data center interconnects, and cloud on-ramps. - Create network designs suited to AI infrastructure requirements. - Guide technical choices across switching and fiber connectivity components.

Requirements - Extensive experience architecting data center networks. - Expertise in spine-leaf fabric design and high-speed Ethernet. - Knowledge of carrier connectivity and data center interconnects. - Familiarity with cloud connectivity and on-ramp patterns. - Ability to lead architecture decisions for complex infrastructure engagements.

Nice to have - Experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista, or Juniper QFX platforms.
