Senior Project Manager (108-10SMGT-01)

Role overview Own delivery across several client projects, guiding work from kickoff through production and handoff. The role connects customer stakeholders with an engineering team working across Canada and Brazil, with close attention to agreed scope, timelines, budget, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities - Manage concurrent projects from kickoff to handoff with limited supervision. - Create plans for scope, milestones, resources, and budget that align with statement-of-work deliverables. - Protect fixed-fee scope by spotting changes early, resolving discrepancies with customers, and guiding prioritization. - Coordinate customer and engineering work across time zones. - Lead project governance, including status updates, sprint reviews, and risk and issue management; escalate when needed. - Facilitate backlog definition, acceptance criteria, and estimates in Jira, and maintain milestone documentation for funded engagements. - Build customer trust through consistent communication, including difficult conversations, and connect delivery outcomes with potential follow-on work. - Improve delivery practices through templates, processes, and practical use of AI in project management.

Requirements - More than five years working with North American customers, including at least three years in a client-facing project manager role. - At least two years of consulting or professional services project experience. - Experience across multiple project management methodologies and strong organization across concurrent work. - Clear communication with business and technical stakeholders. - Fluent English and legal authorization to work in Canada; visa or work permit sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have - Portuguese; Certified Scrum Master or equivalent. - AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, or willingness to earn it within 90 days. - Familiarity with generative AI, Amazon Bedrock, data engineering, application modernization, AWS partner programs, or funded engagements. - Experience in an early-stage company.

Benefits and work setup - Fully remote contractor role. - Base salary range: CAD $120,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience.
