AI/ML Solutions Architect ( 107-10SENG-01 )

Role overview

Shape and deliver AI and data solutions across client projects, from early prototypes through production deployment. You will guide a small engineering team while designing scalable applications that connect language models, retrieval systems, automation, and cloud services with existing business software. The work also involves close coordination with application development and cloud migration teams.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical direction to a team of two or three AI and cloud engineers building prototypes in AWS. - Mentor less experienced teammates and advise clients on technical approaches. - Design and implement scalable services using machine learning and AI capabilities. - Build agent based systems that plan tasks, use tools, and automate business workflows. - Develop retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, including chunking, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation, and iteration. - Integrate AI services and APIs with existing applications, and work across engineering and cloud projects.

Requirements

- Practical experience designing and delivering AI or machine learning solutions, including LLM-powered applications. - Understanding of data engineering fundamentals such as ETL, pipelines, and data modeling. - Experience designing, consuming, and integrating APIs with existing systems. - Working knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, tool calling, agent patterns, prompt design, and evaluation. - Hands-on AWS experience, including at least one AI/ML or serverless service. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Nice to have

- Experience across multiple cloud providers. - An AWS Professional or Specialty certification.
