About this role
Role overview An Oracle EPM Consultant focused on Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) and Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) is needed to join a small consultancy that works exclusively in Oracle EPM Cloud. The role is embedded in real client engagements from day one, implementing planning solutions, troubleshooting issues, and communicating clearly with finance and IT stakeholders. The work is remote within the United States and targets consultants with three to five years of relevant experience who want a clear growth path toward lead consultant responsibilities.
Responsibilities - Implement and support PBCS and EPBCS environments for client finance and FP&A teams. - Build, refine, and troubleshoot planning models, calculations, and business rules including Groovy-based logic. - Translate between finance stakeholder language and technical configuration, explaining root causes in plain English. - Review new Oracle Cloud updates, assess impact, and apply relevant changes to client environments. - Integrate Oracle EPM Cloud with adjacent systems and data sources as engagements require. - Identify and proactively flag configuration or modeling weaknesses rather than waiting to be asked.
Requirements - Three to five years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, specifically PBCS and EPBCS. - Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Groovy business rules and customizations. - Prior exposure to enterprise planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes supporting FP&A teams. - Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and finance audiences. - Self-starter mindset with a track record of improving systems without waiting for direction. - Eligibility to work in the United States as a W-2 employee; Green Card holder or US citizen status required.
Nice to have - Background that includes legacy on-premise Hyperion planning environments, which the team values as a sign of real-world experience.
