Job details
About this role
Role overview
Senior frontend engineering role owning the marketing website as a conversion-focused acquisition channel. The position sits at the intersection of marketing and engineering, treating the company website as a critical touchpoint on the customer journey rather than a static brand brochure. The engineer will serve as the technical owner of an in-house, modern marketing stack that has recently migrated off a hosted website builder, with responsibility for the day-to-day craft and long-term direction of the site.
Responsibilities
- Build and continuously improve a polished, responsive, interactive marketing site that brings the product to life through animation and rich media - Own site performance, technical SEO, and how pages surface to search engines and AI agents - Maintain and evolve the platform: headless CMS, shared components, third-party integrations, and deployment pipeline - Ensure tracking, attribution, conversion events, and funnel data are implemented correctly and flow reliably into marketing and data systems - Partner with marketing, design, and growth teammates on experiments and on raising the bar on conversion - Build tooling, automations, and guardrails that let non-technical teammates ship and iterate independently
Requirements
- Around five or more years building and owning conversion-focused marketing websites long-term, not only handing off after launch - Hands-on fluency with a modern static-site stack such as Astro and a headless CMS such as Sanity, plus deployment on a platform like Vercel - Strong sense for motion, ambitious CSS, and rich media, paired with care for page speed, accessibility, and technical SEO - Experience with measurement tooling: cookies, analytics, conversion events, attribution, and experimentation platforms such as Segment, Amplitude, or Customer.io - Track record of designing systems that let marketers and designers self-serve safely - Comfortable bridging marketing and engineering, owning tasks of any size, and using AI tools to move faster while protecting craft and taste
Benefits and work setup
- 100% remote position open to candidates based in the United States only - Competitive compensation plus an organization-wide, goal-based bonus - Approximately five weeks of paid time off to start, plus a one-week winter holiday break and paid US holidays, with two additional PTO days earned per year of tenure - Choice between a standard five-day workweek or a four-day week at 80% pay, coordinated with a manager - Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers - One-month paid sabbatical every five years of service - US healthcare benefits include two medical plans with nearly full premium coverage, plus dental, vision, HSA, FSA, and company-paid long-term disability - 401(k) with employer match up to 6%, vested immediately - Annual in-person company gathering to build connection and cross-functional collaboration
