Founding Engineer

Role overview Join an early engineering team and work directly with company founders to build and improve a growing software product. The work spans scraping pipelines, backend APIs, infrastructure, and queue systems, so priorities may shift between product features and scaling operational foundations.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain web scraping pipelines. - Develop backend APIs and product functionality. - Scale and operate Kubernetes infrastructure and queue systems. - Refactor systems as product and operational needs change. - Take ownership of assigned work through completion and contribute to product and company direction.

Requirements - Three to seven years of software development experience. - Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or both. - Experience with infrastructure such as Kubernetes and queue systems. - Energy for building products and comfort working across different areas of a software stack. - Ownership mindset and interest in how engineering decisions affect the business.

Nice to have - Web scraping experience.
