Senior Project Manager

Role overview Lead complex healthcare software implementations from project initiation through customer acceptance and transition to support. You will coordinate customer-facing delivery in live healthcare environments, balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual commitments. The work spans internal delivery and development teams as well as customers and third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities - Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, delivery, acceptance, and support handover. - Deliver large enterprise software implementations for healthcare organizations. - Maintain project plans, schedules, forecasts, documentation, risk registers, and issue tracking. - Lead governance, reporting, and customer project meetings. - Coordinate delivery, development, services, and supplier teams. - Manage transitions into the project and support functions, and improve project processes and tools.

Requirements - PRINCE2 Practitioner certification and a degree or equivalent experience. - At least five years delivering large, complex projects in the UK healthcare sector. - At least three years in software, healthcare technology, or IT solutions. - Proven experience delivering enterprise software implementations, typically requiring 1,000–3,000 delivery days. - Strong Microsoft Project skills and experience managing risks, issues, governance, and customer acceptance. - Working knowledge of AI concepts and demonstrated professional use of AI tools. - Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland.
