Remote job
Growth Engineer
Job details
About this role
Role overview
A growth pod is hiring an engineer to drive product-led growth across a self-serve funnel, with equal focus on human UI polish and agentic, AI-assisted experiences. This is a brand-new role focused on speed and measurable impact: ship a testable idea, instrument it, learn from it, and iterate. The position works cross-functionally with product, design, and data science while partnering with platform and app teams on shared user surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship experiments across the self-serve funnel, covering signup, onboarding, activation, and monetization flows. - Design and refine human-facing UI such as flows, forms, empty states, navigation, and microcopy to maximize clarity and conversion. - Design and ship agentic experiences, including AI-assisted onboarding, in-product agents, and guided workflows that accelerate time-to-value. - Run disciplined experiments following a hypothesis, instrumentation, ship, and learn loop using tools like GrowthBook. - Partner with product, design, and data science to move from idea to shipped experiment quickly. - Collaborate with platform and app teams on end-to-end user flows, obsessing over acquisition, activation, and monetization metrics.
Requirements
- Full-stack product engineering experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React, ideally on a growth or experimentation-focused team. - A strong eye for product UI craft, from button design to empty states. - Hands-on experience building with LLMs or agent patterns in a product (tool calling, streaming, evals, system or prompt design), or a track record of shipping and iterating on AI features. - Comfort shipping a smaller, testable version of an idea first and iterating based on results. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, Git, and collaborative code review. - Excellent communication skills for daily collaboration with PM, design, data science, marketing, and other engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Experience shipping both polished UI experiments and agentic, AI-assisted product experiences with proper instrumentation. - Background on a growth or product-led-growth team at a company with a self-serve funnel. - Familiarity with data-intensive or analytics products, auth integrations such as Auth0, or working alongside a separate platform or infrastructure engineering team. - Strong opinions on what makes great human UX and great agent UX, with heavy personal use of AI in your own workflow.
Benefits and work setup
- Fully remote-friendly environment within a globally distributed team operating across 25+ countries. - Employer contributions toward healthcare. - Equity in the company through stock options for every new team member. - Flexible time off in the US, with generous paid leave entitlements in other regions. - A $500 USD home office setup allowance for remote employees. - Periodic global offsites to encourage in-person connection and team bonding.
