Full Stack Software Engineer - Control Plane

Role overview

A full-stack engineering role on the Control Plane team building and maintaining a cloud console web application used to manage database services, user access, a SQL IDE, interactive dashboards, and performance monitoring. The position focuses on delivering scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on user experience. The role is open to remote candidates across EMEA countries where the company maintains a hiring presence.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver scalable, highly available, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship application features - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and infrastructure - Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation - Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or platform engineering - Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON - Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications - Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git - Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

- Experience with the underlying analytics database technology or similar data engines - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines - Background developing analytics or data-intensive applications - Experience with Auth0 or similar identity integrations - Monorepo experience (Yarn workspaces, Turborepo, Nx) - Previous work on developer tools, IDEs, or BI platforms - WebSocket or real-time feature experience
