Role overview
Own strategy and delivery for a product area focused on coordinating supply chain activity across companies and systems. This senior individual contributor role spans customer discovery, roadmap choices, technical requirements, launch, and adoption, with a focus on improving measurable operational outcomes. You’ll work across product, engineering, design, data, and customer-facing teams, and bring roadmap decisions and results to executive leaders.
Responsibilities - Set product strategy and roadmap priorities based on customer problems, business value, and platform fit. - Investigate workflows such as order-to-cash, fulfillment, shipment execution, and partner collaboration; turn recurring gaps into reusable product capabilities. - Define outcome measures such as order cycle time, delivery performance, exception resolution, manual effort, and partner onboarding time. - Specify integration requirements spanning ERP, warehouse and transport systems, APIs, EDI transactions, and business events. - Partner with engineering and architecture on data models, reliability, security, observability, and technical tradeoffs; shape requirements, prototypes, and phased releases. - Evaluate AI opportunities such as exception diagnosis and workflow automation, defining performance measures and where human review or approval is needed; work with commercial and service teams to support launches and adoption.
Requirements - At least five years of product management experience, including substantial ownership of an enterprise or B2B SaaS product area. - Supply chain expertise in areas such as order-to-cash, fulfillment, shipment execution, or trading partner collaboration. - A record of taking products from discovery through launch and adoption, with measurable results. - Strong technical fluency in APIs, EDI, enterprise integrations, data models, and SaaS architecture. - Practical understanding of modern AI, including LLMs and agent-based workflows, and how to evaluate their fitness for a task. - Sound prioritization and influencing skills, executive communication experience, and a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have - Experience with manufacturing, distribution, retail, or third-party logistics customers; B2B integration, iPaaS, or supply chain execution software. - Familiarity with X12 or EDIFACT and common ERP, WMS, or TMS platforms. - Experience shipping AI-enabled features or human-in-the-loop automation, and knowledge of enterprise AI controls such as auditability and approval workflows. - ASCM/APICS certification such as CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD.
Benefits and work setup - Base salary of $130,000–$150,000 plus potential annual bonus. - Expect 10–15% travel for customer visits, partner meetings, industry events, and team planning.
