Senior Product Designer — Trading

Role overview Own the design of core trading experiences for a retail investing product, including research, order entry, position management, and portfolio views. You’ll work with engineers and product managers on decisions that affect people making real trades, shaping both end-to-end workflows and the small interaction details that matter during active trading.

Responsibilities - Lead design across trading journeys, from broad flow choices to precise interaction behavior. - Prototype ideas directly in the product codebase with AI tools and use those prototypes to inform decisions. - Contribute to the design system as it develops, identifying where new patterns or components are needed. - Work closely with engineering and product partners and bring a clear point of view to product discussions. - Ensure the experience works across mobile as well as other product surfaces.

Requirements - Shipped retail trading experiences used by customers trading real money in markets such as equities, options, futures, or crypto. - Strong understanding of trading mechanics and the ways existing products can frustrate or underserve traders. - High-quality visual and interaction design craft. - Experience designing mobile product experiences; the role covers more than desktop. - Ability to prototype in a codebase using AI tooling, even if you do not write production code. - Self-directed working style, openness to course-correcting, and a low-ego approach to collaboration.

Nice to have - Experience in consumer fintech with a strong design practice. - Specific experience with options or derivatives workflows. - Contributions to a design system.
