Job details
About this role
Role overview The Implementation Director owns end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of enterprise health system accounts on an AI-powered supply chain platform, from signed contract through go-live and into steady-state handoff to Customer Success. The role blends hands-on implementation ownership with cross-functional coordination across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience.
Responsibilities - Own the full implementation lifecycle for enterprise health system accounts, including kickoff, technical integration coordination, workflow configuration, training, go-live, user adoption, and success evaluation. - Build and maintain implementation project plans, timelines, and risk registers, proactively identifying and mitigating delivery risk. - Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience to keep commitments realistic without holding formal authority over those teams. - Manage executive, user, and clinical stakeholder relationships during implementation, including CIOs, supply chain VPs, CFOs, and project sponsors, along with status reporting and escalation management. - Make scope and timeline tradeoff decisions under real constraints, owning the reasoning for what is removed, retained, or escalated. - Ensure a clean handoff to Customer Success so the inheriting CSM receives a well-operating customer.
Requirements - 4–8+ years in implementation, professional services, or technical onboarding, with meaningful time in healthcare, health system, or complex enterprise SaaS environments. - Direct, hands-on ownership of enterprise-scale rollouts involving multiple stakeholders and meaningful technical complexity. - Working fluency with health system IT and clinical operations, including EHR/EMR integration exposure (Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner), HL7/FHIR, file exchanges, and hospital IT and clinical governance. - Track record of building structure where none existed, including implementation plans, risk frameworks, and status reporting, with the ability to make delivery playbooks repeatable.
Benefits and work setup - Target base salary range of $140K–$170K, plus incentive stock options proportionate to salary. - Fully remote with a NYC co-working space available; distributed team across multiple time zones with in-person opportunities. - Unlimited PTO, top-tier health, vision, and dental benefits, and 401(k).
