About this role
Role overview Drive the strategy and execution for a core card processing and payments infrastructure that powers corporate card programs across Latin America. The role blends deep platform thinking with hands-on shipping, spanning traditional card issuing, clearing and settlement, and emerging stablecoin-based payment flows across verticals like Travel, Fleet, and Corporate Cards.
Responsibilities - Shape the roadmap for card processing infrastructure, covering issuing, card lifecycle, reconciliation, clearing, settlement, and payment application layers. - Lead product discovery and delivery for stablecoin-powered payment rails integrated with corporate card capabilities, working through regulatory and cross-border technical constraints. - Translate vertical-specific needs (Travel, Fuel/Fleet, Corporate Cards) into durable platform capabilities rather than one-off features. - Prototype and ship concepts quickly using AI tooling, contributing configuration, copy, feature flags, and simple updates through GitHub pull requests. - Partner with engineering, operations, finance, compliance, and external networks to convert complex operational problems into structured, shippable solutions. - Define and track platform metrics such as approval rates, settlement accuracy, and rail performance, using SQL and dashboard tools to guide iteration.
Requirements - 5+ years in product management, product engineering, or hybrid building roles with a track record of shipping products that move core business metrics. - Hands-on experience with stablecoins, crypto payment rails, or blockchain-based settlement (e.g., USDC, USDT, or on-chain payment flows). - Domain exposure to fintech, financial infrastructure, card issuing, or payment flows on networks such as Mastercard or Visa. - Technical fluency with web architecture concepts and comfort using GitHub workflows (branches, commits, PRs, diffs). - Strong SQL skills, dashboard literacy, and experience evaluating cohort analytics. - Working proficiency in English and Spanish, plus excellent written communication and a builder mindset suited to fast-changing environments.
Nice to have - Basic proficiency in Portuguese or a willingness to learn. - Familiarity with Latin American regulatory and compliance nuances around crypto payments and card issuing across Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil. - Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, or Python for custom data modeling.
Benefits and work setup - Hybrid working model with time split between office, customers, and home. - Competitive compensation with stock options from day one, plus an annual learning budget.
