Role overview
This is a full-stack software engineering role focused on rebuilding how developers experience continuous integration and delivery in an era of autonomous AI agents. The work centers on inventing interfaces that help engineers understand, trust, and act on work performed by pipelines and AI agents. Engineers are hired into a team-agnostic placement model, with the final team chosen based on where the candidate's strengths create the most leverage.
Responsibilities
- Build features end to end across the stack using Go, React, and TypeScript, owning outcomes rather than handing off at layer boundaries. - Approach problems AI-natively, treating AI as the default starting point for how solutions are designed and implemented. - Design new interfaces and interaction patterns for software delivery, where pipelines increasingly run autonomously, generate fixes, and surface results that need human judgment. - Treat reliability, latency, and responsiveness as design concerns rather than afterthoughts, holding a high bar for craft. - Use observability tooling such as Honeycomb, Datadog, and Rollbar to understand system behavior and drive stability improvements. - Notice gaps in the product, code, or team processes and proactively close them without waiting to be asked.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of production full-stack engineering experience with a track record of shipping real product to users. - Strong React and TypeScript skills, with comfort owning backend services in Go, including API design, data modeling, and service integration. - Daily, practical experience using AI engineering tools, with the ability to speak to what has been built and where those tools fall short. - A system design mindset that weighs architectural tradeoffs and documents reasoning. - Production operating experience in a distributed environment, including attention to latency, responsiveness, and reliability.
Nice to have
- Background working in areas like CI pipelines, deploy and release tooling, notification infrastructure, monetization flows, AI agent surfaces, or foundational web platforms.
