About this role
Role overview Set product direction for wallet infrastructure used across digital asset, payment, custody, and developer offerings. The role spans customer discovery, platform strategy, and delivery across wallet models, while shaping secure ways for AI agents to hold and move value under defined permissions and safeguards.
Responsibilities - Own the wallet product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing customer groups, use cases, wallet models, and shared platform capabilities. - Validate customer needs with prospective users, design partners, and early adopters, then translate findings into product choices and adoption goals. - Define capabilities for institutional custody, including storage tiers, key management, signing, approvals, policy controls, and multi-party authorization. - Shape agent-ready wallet features such as scoped permissions, programmable policies, contract signing, and protections for autonomous transactions. - Work across engineering, security, cryptography, compliance, risk, legal, and commercial teams to resolve technical and regulatory tradeoffs. - Measure adoption, reliability, chain expansion, launch readiness, cost efficiency, operational leverage, and risk reduction.
Requirements - At least 10 years of relevant product management experience, including substantial work in crypto, fintech, payments, custody, blockchain infrastructure, developer platforms, or security-sensitive financial products. - Deep knowledge of custodial and non-custodial wallets, key management, signing, account abstraction or smart accounts, recovery, gas abstraction, and wallet security. - Track record of setting strategy for technical platform products and turning ambiguous needs into priorities and measurable outcomes. - Technical fluency in blockchain infrastructure, including EVM and non-EVM ecosystems, transaction flows, smart contracts, protocol upgrades, APIs, and SDKs. - Understanding of AI agents and the permissions, policies, integrations, and safeguards needed for them to transact value. - Ability to influence senior stakeholders and make tradeoffs across security, compliance, reliability, customer experience, cost, and growth.
Nice to have - Experience with stablecoins, digital asset custody, programmable wallets, MPC, HSMs, TEEs, passkeys, or smart contract wallet systems. - Background building API-first developer products or working in regulated finance, crypto, payments, or banking.
Benefits and work setup - Remote work is indicated. The listed base pay range is $197,500–$240,833; starting compensation depends on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
