Role overview

A senior technical leadership role focused on guiding a multicultural engineering team that designs and delivers complex back-end systems. The position balances strategic architectural direction with hands-on mentorship, collaborating with stakeholders and developers across multiple countries. All communication is conducted in English, and the work centers on .NET-based platforms serving enterprise needs.

Responsibilities

- Define and evolve the technical direction, architecture, and design patterns for back-end services built with C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server. - Govern the implementation, evolution, and standardization of SOAP and REST APIs, ensuring versioning, security, and best practices. - Establish standards for unit and integration testing, monitoring, and root-cause analysis to guarantee reliability and scalability. - Lead code reviews and mentor engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning. - Oversee seamless integration of legacy and modern systems, prioritizing performance and decoupling. - Drive CI/CD optimization and partner with product managers and cross-border teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps.

Requirements

- Advanced or fluent English proficiency. - Proven experience acting as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Principal Engineer in a production environment. - Deep, hands-on expertise with .NET Framework and .NET Core. - Solid command of ADO.NET and SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning at scale. - Strong experience designing SOAP and RESTful services with proficiency in XML serialization and deserialization. - Mastery of software design patterns, clean architecture, and modern distributed systems, plus excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

- Cloud platform expertise, preferably Azure. - Familiarity with specification-driven or agentic software development approaches. - Experience leading teams within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
