Role overview
This position leads product strategy for a regulatory technology platform serving banks, regulators, and regulated financial institutions that are adopting digital assets. The role owns what the team builds next for these institutional and supervisory clients, gathering needs directly and through client-facing consultants, translating them into a clear, prioritized roadmap, and presenting the products externally. Internally, the lead represents the customer voice across executive leadership, engineering, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Run discovery with clients and prospects on site and remotely, partnering with solutions consultants to set the agenda for field learning - Build and manage an independent discovery channel, including a panel of compliance, risk, and operations practitioners at banks, virtual asset service providers, and regulators for structured interviews - Convert client conversations and consultant findings into actionable, prioritized product and feature decisions, documenting the rationale and defending the ranking to leadership - Present the products and services to client teams, prospects, and regulators through demos, workshops, and tender presentations - Join business development and consultants on key client visits, primarily in the US, with occasional travel to Europe, the Middle East, and other markets - Own the roadmap conversation with executive leadership, business development, and engineering
Requirements
- 5–8 years in B2B product management, ideally in fintech, regtech, compliance software, or at a regulated financial institution - Domain experience in financial crime, AML or transaction monitoring, blockchain intelligence, or risk and surveillance products, either as a product manager or from inside a compliance function - Demonstrated ability to lead complete product cycles from discovery to launch in a regulated or enterprise domain, identifying the underlying need behind a client's stated request - Native or fully proficient English with professional presentation skills for senior compliance, risk, and regulatory audiences - Established prioritization framework and a track record of turning customer input into shipped features - Sufficient technical fluency to challenge engineering decisions and hold a position under pushback - Experience directing discovery through others as well as first-hand, including setting the agenda for consultants - Willingness to travel regularly within the US and internationally as required
Nice to have
- Prior product experience at a blockchain intelligence or crypto compliance platform - Familiarity with FATF, Travel Rule, sanctions, or MiCA-type requirements as they apply to digital assets - Familiarity with US, UK, or EU digital asset regulation - Experience working with regulators or on regulatory tenders
