Role overview A senior architect role pioneering the deployment of containerized platform solutions inside complex enterprise and federal customer environments. The position serves as the central technical liaison between customer infrastructure and platform engineering, requiring an active US government clearance. The work blends Kubernetes expertise with identity management, security compliance, and integration architecture.
Responsibilities - Lead technical discussions to analyze customer architecture and recommend optimal containerized deployments - Own deployment of containerized applications in federal account environments alongside compliance teams - Maintain security documentation including POA&Ms - Establish data integrations using built-in extractors, APIs, and Python - Guide customers on authentication (SSO), LDAP, and user/group provisioning - Collaborate with product development to identify reusable platform enhancements
Requirements - 5+ years deploying and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes - Hands-on experience with at least one distribution such as Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, or RedHat OpenShift - Active US government clearance (Public Trust, Secret, or Top Secret) with 18 months to 2 years of remaining eligibility - Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform; Helm or Kustomize strongly preferred - Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Experience with automation tooling such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Ansible
